Add the maple syrup to the bottom of your coffee mug.
Brew one shot of espresso in an espresso machine, ad to your mug and stir to mix with the espresso.
Add the eggnog and milk to a milk pitcher and using the steam wand on your espresso machine, froth the milk until the pitcher is too hot to touch with the palm of your hand (approximately 145-165° F.)
Pour the steamed milk over the espresso shot, in our mug. Top with optional whipped cream, nutmeg, and cinnaomon.
Stovetop Espresso Maker and Milk Frother
Add the maple syrup to the bottom of your coffee mug.
Brew on shot of espresso using a stovetop espresso maker. Add it to your mug and stir to mix with the maple syrup.
Add eggnog and milk to the milk frother and heat according to your frother's instructions. Pour the steamed milk into your mug, over the espresso shot. Top with optional whipped cream, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
Notes
If you want to adjust the size of your eggnog latte, do the following:
For a smaller latte: 2 tsp maple syrup, 1 shot of espresso, 1/4 cup of milk, 1/2 cup of eggnog
For a larger latte: 1.5 tbsp maple syrup 2 shots of espresso, ½ cup of milk, 1 cup of eggnog
