Ingredients

quick oats

all-purpose flour
1/3

sugar
1/2
cup
butter
melted
1/4
cup
pure maple syrup
3/4
cup
Nutella or chocolate hazelnut spread
such as Jiff
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F.
Line 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper.
In large mixing bowl combine and mix oats, flour, sugar.
In smaller bowl mix together melted butter and maple syrup.
Pour butter and syrup mixture over oat mixture and stir until thoroughly combined.
Transfer 2/3 of oat mixture into prepared baking pan and evenly distribute.
Bake for 10-12 minutes then remove from oven.
Meanwhile, heat Nutella or chocolate hazelnut spread for 15 seconds in microwave safe dish to soften.
Spread chocolate spread over baked oat mixture base.
Crumble the remaining 1/3 oat mixture over chocolate layer.
Return to oven and bake for an additional 25-30 minutes.
Allow bars to cool.
Cut into squares and serve.
