Old-Fashioned Ginger Christmas Cookies
Scott grew up with these Ginger Christmas Cookies and now he's teaching our kids how to make them!

INGREDIENTS
GINGER MOLASES WATER FLOUR SUGAR BAKING SODA SHORTENING SALT
Cream the shortening and sugar.
Add the water and molasses.
Stir in ground ginger and salt.
Mix it all together.
Stir in the flour and baking soda.
The aroma from these ginger and molasses cookies can bring back precious memories!
Roll the dough to 1/4 inch thickness.
Use cookie cutters to cut your cookies.
Use a spatula to transfer the cookies to a baking sheet.
Place the cookies on a parchment paper-lined cookie sheet.
Sprinkle with sugar, then bake cookies at 350° for 6-9 minutes.
