How to Grease a Cake Pan
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
Use fingertips to spread a thin layer throughout inner surface of cake pan, making sure to cover both the sides and bottom of the pan.
Place flour in the pan and tap it around to cover all the inner surface of the pan. Give the pan a sharp tap over your kitchen sink to discard excess flour.
Line bottom of cake pan with parchment paper as described above.
