Melt the butter and whisk in the flour to make the roux.

Saturate the roux with flour and keep stirring over low heat.

Stir and cook roux to a golden brown. Remove from heat and reserve.

Bring broth and seasoning to a boil in a sauce pan. Then use a ladle to slowly add the hot broth to the roux. Continue to whisk at a small boil until the gravy thickens.
