Crispy Potatoes Made With Duck Fat

This Tik Tok famous crispy potatoes recipe is made with duck fat for added flavor and texture. Try it for an easy and delicious side dish!


Yukon gold potatoes  Water  Kosher salt Baking soda (optional) Duck fat

Preheat oven to 425° F.  Wash the potatoes and cut them into 2-inch pieces.

Let's Make This! 

Fill a large pot with water and bring to a boil. Add salt (and baking soda if desired). Once the water is boiling, add the potatoes and cook for about 10 minutes.

Drain the potatoes. Then shake them dry and stir with a spoon to roughen the edges. Next, place the potatoes in a large bowl and drizzle the duck fat over them. Use a rubber spatula to stir them. Add any additional seasoning or fresh herbs you'd like.

Place the potatoes on a parchment lined baking sheet and transfer to the oven for about 20-25 minutes.  Then turn the oven off and let them rest for 10 minutes before serving. Feel free to add shredded cheese if desired.
