Oatmeal Bars with Apple Butter

Oatmeal Bars are the perfect sweet and savory treat made with pantry ingredients! 


Old-fashioned rolled oats Flour Brown Sugar White Granulated Sugar Salt Cinnamon Butter Apple Butter or substitute

Preheat oven to 350F. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, add the old-fashioned rolled oats.

Then add in the all-purpose flour.

Next add in the granulated sugar.

Followed by the brown sugar.

Add the salt.

Then add the cinnamon and mix everything together. 

Next add in the softened butter and stir together. 

Transfer half of the mixture to a greased baking pan.  Save the other half for the crumble topping

Use a drinking glass to pack the base down in the pan. 

Then add the apple butter and spread evenly over the base. 

Sprinkle the crumb topping on the layer of apple butter and pat firmly.  Bake for 30-35 minutes.  Let cool completely before serving.
