The Best Creamy Mushroom Sauce

This easy Mushroom Sauce is made from mushrooms and cream, seasoned with your favorite herbs and spices! Try it for a delicious addition to any meal.


In a pan over medium-high heat, heat 4 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic until sizzling. 

Let's Make This! 

Add the mushrooms to the pan and spread them evenly.  Cook for several minutes without stirring the mushrooms.

Add salt and pepper. Stir the mushrooms and continue cooking until they have browned and softened, and the liquid has evaporated.

Add the wine and stir together. Let simmer for a few minutes until the wine reduces by half.

Stir in the heavy cream.

Drizzle the cornstarch mixture over the sauce while stirring everything together.

Add more salt and pepper and garnish with minced parsley.

Serve immediately over pasta, mashed potatoes, chicken, or steak and enjoy!
