🥩 Beef Recipes
Beef recipes are part of our favorite family meals here on Platter Talk. Because it is so versatile, beef is found in almost all of our menu ideas.
We featured grilled beef with our jerked beef recipe, show you how to make prime rib for special occasions, and show you how to use ground beef with our slow cooker Italian hamburger soup and our popular homemade beefaroni.
You'll also want to check out our step-by-step instructions for recreating this classic beef stew, using Julia Child's recipe for beef bourguignon.
Top tips on how to buy beef:
- Buy organic, grass-fed beef if possible. You may pay a bit extra for organic beef but you can rest assured that you will be eating the real thing and not meat that is full of antibiotics and artificial hormones.
- Know your source. As a farm boy, I can't stress how important this is. It's a well-known fact that unhealthy cows that are no longer suitable for milk production are often sold to big-box grocery stores to pass on to you in the form of store-bought beef.
